Co-location

With co-location you rent space in our ISO-accredited UK-based data centres to securely house and power your server. You retain ownership and control of your physical server – we simply house and protect it for you.

Co-location is the ultimate solution if you want the flexibility and control of owning a server, but don’t have the in-house resource or space to house and securely store it yourself. It is also an ideal option if you’ve already purchased a server and want to continue to gain returns on the investment made.

Co-locate a server with us from £35 per month. Get in touch now for a detailed quotation.

  • Redundancy & reliability

Ensuring that your equipment is constantly fed with internet and power is vital to system up time. These two simple commodities can often be taken for granted, this is why our data centres continually invest millions to ensure guaranteed uptime.

  • Internet – Both of our data centres have multiple internet providers and are “carrier neutral”. This means we do not favour a given internet provider, i.e. if one were to fail there would be no loss of connectivity to your services.
  • Power – Operating to 2N+1 standards means our power infrastructure is safe from outages. Diverse supplier feeds from the grid, multiple diesel backup generators and multiple UPS systems. You can be sure that power to your equipment will always remain.
  • Security

Physical security is one of the primary factors that should be considered when choosing where to locate your IT infrastructure. Risk factors such as theft, arson and vandalism can be completely mitigated by co-locating with Cloud2Me.

    • 24 hour manned security and dog presence
    • MOD security card access system
    • Infrared CCTV with 24 hour video capture
    • Reinforced concrete walls up to 3m thick

  • South London

    • Security personnel on site 24/7
    • Frequent site and building patrols
    • Dual palisade steel fencing around entire facility
    • 42 HD CCTV cameras constantly monitor the site
    • PAC and PIN access double entry systems throughout site
  • Environment

The environment where your server infrastructure is located is hugely important. Air temperature must remain consistently cool. It also goes without saying that fire is another risk that must be reduced and controlled. We take both of these risk factors seriously.

  • Cooling – Both of our data centres operate to an N+2 standard, utilising blended cooling technology designed to a PUE of 1.3. In conjunction with cold aisle and pod technology, we run more efficiently on renewable sourced energy. This keeps your costs down and servers optimised.
  • Fire – Ensuring our customer equipment operates safely is one of our greatest concerns. Both of our data centre facilities use VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) which continuously samples the air for smoke particles.

  • Choice of Data Centre

We offer co-location services from either one of our two UK Tier 3 data centres. Located in Purley, South London and Ash, Kent – they are ideally suited for customers in the South of England.

  • Access all hours

For customers that commit to a quarter rack or more, you can have access to your equipment 24/7 within a lockable rack. Complete freedom to your equipment.

  • Accreditations and Compliances

With an ever increasing requirement for data compliance, it can be important you select a data centre with industry leading accreditations. Both our data centres hold ISO27001, ISO9001 accreditations and a PCI DSS 2.0 compliance.

  • Facilities

Gone are the days where data centres used to be cold, uninhabitable places. Whether it’s your customers or staff you can make use of parking, rest rooms, kitchens, build facilities, dedicated offices and meeting rooms. We find these touches make any time spent on site comfortable.
